Mission Statement

Mark’s Mission Statement:

Champion our ideals and values in the Colorado State House of Representatives in a respectful, dignified, and honorable manner so as to provide an effective voice for the constituents of HD 15.

Mark’s Guiding Principles:

     • Stand strong and be well rooted in our core conservative values
     • Diligently work to build consensus advancing the needs and goals of HD 15
     • Be accessible, approachable and listen to constituents to ensure the needs and concerns of the

       people are placed ahead of any personal agendas
     • Constantly strive to “do the right thing” instead of constantly striving to be right
     • Take personal responsibility for my words, actions, and abilities as a representative in the

Colorado State House of Representatives and also as a public figure

Mark’s Core Conservative Values:

     • Pro-family conservative who believes the nuclear family unit is the cornerstone of the community
     • Pro-life conservative who believes life begins at conception
     • Constitutionalist who believes the Second Amendment guarantees each individuals right to keep

       and bear arms
     • Fiscal conservative who believes in limited government
          o The government is responsible for reasonable spending
          o The citizens have the right to determine how their tax dollars are spent
