WHAT TO EXPECT:

Here is a brief description of what you can expect: At 8:00am, breakout meetings will be held for all of the House District seats which are up for election. We as House District 15 will gather with our fellow delegates from HD 15 for the purpose of selecting the Republican nominee for this district. All candidates seeking your support at the assembly must receive a minimum of 30% of the vote of the delegates present to be placed on the primary ballot in August. If a candidate receives less than 30% but more than 10%, that candidate will not gain access to the primary ballot through the assembly, but may choose to petition onto the ballot. If the candidate receives less than 10%, his/her campaign may not petition and will not continue.

After the House District meetings, the main meeting will convene at 10:30. This is where you will hear from county-wide and state-wide candidates. At 12:15, the County Commissioner breakout meetings will convene and the same process will occur as did for the House District meetings. Senate district meetings will occur in the same way.
